Baltimore County surrounds (but doesn't include) the City of Baltimore, in Central Maryland. It is a very populous county, filled with independent suburbs of Baltimore, whose populations surged during the white flight of the 1960s from the city in the face of desegregation and the riots of 1968.

Cities and neighborhoods[edit]

The cities and neighborhoods are organised by their location relative to Baltimore City, in the same way as the city's district-guides. Some neighborhoods outside Baltimore city-limits are covered in the district-guides, those district-guides are linked to here.

This region travel guide to Baltimore County is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
