Summary
| Description |
English: This picture was taken at Ali Camp during a trekking expedition in the vicinity of K-2, the second highest mountain on earth. Ali Camp is in the Karakoram National Park which is a protected area and Pakistan's largest national Park.
Due to bad weather we were not able to move ahead towards Gondogoro Pass which is world's highest mountain pass. The snow storm was approaching towards our campsite when I captured this image. The storm is quite visible in the upper right corner of the image. The storm kept us snowbound for almost four days and caused the shortage of food for the entire team and porters. |
