English: Khlong Saen Saep water canal in central Bangkok. At one time, Bangkok was known as the "Venice of the East" due to its extensive canal system throughout the city. This Bangkok water taxi route runs from the Golden Mount (Wat Saket) all the way to the west in the Bangkapi area. Bangkok, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, Thailand.
