English: Blenheim Palace Blenheim Palace is the only non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title "palace" and is one of England's largest houses. The Palace, situated in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, was commissioned by John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, and built between 1705 and circa 1724 to a design by Sir John Vanbrugh and Nicholas Hawksmoor. This photograph is of the main entrance.
