Heho

Heho is a city in Shan State, Eastern Myanmar.

Get in

Heho is most known because it has an international airport with connections to Yangon, Mandalay, and other domestic airports. From there, most people take a tourbus, taxi or pickup to get to Inle Lake. Directly outside the airport, taxi drivers will charge anything between 15000 and 30000 Kyat (September 2010) for the 45 minute ride to Inle. Private cars will do it for 10000 Kyat if you have good negotiating skills. Taking a bus or pickup, you have to walk to the main road outside the airport. This is a 2km walk to the right when exiting the airport.
