Malanville is a city in Northern Benin.

Malanville is a dusty border town on the Niger River. The main attraction is the large market which is busiest on Fridays and Saturdays. Other attractions include the river itself where one can take pirogue rides for a small fee (1,000 fcfa.)

Get in[edit]

There are direct buses and taxis from Cotonou to Malanville. Travel time can range anywhere from 12 hours to 18. It is best to break the travel up into two days with a stop in Parakou. From Parakou to Malanville can be as little as 5 hours in a direct taxi on a good day but an average time is around 7 hours.
