Milford is a small, quaint town in the Blackland Prairie region of Texas. It lies 20 miles south of Waxahachie, and is home to approximately 700 residents.

Get in[edit]

Milford lies on US Highway 77 approximately midway between Waxahachie and Hillsboro. Few towns its size possess public airports or bus stations, and Milford is no exception. However, it is easily accessed by car. The town is just east of Interstate 35E, and its exit is marked prominently.

Get around[edit]

Being such a small town, Milford is quite easily navigable. However, towns this small usually have a scant budget for road repair, and the side streets reflect this. Stick to the posted speed limit of 25 mph (40 km/h) and you should be fine.

See[edit]

When speaking in terms of modern attractions, Milford is home to few to none. The community is, however, quite rich in historical significance. Settlement in the area dates back to the 1840s, and several homes from the early days still exist.
