  • 4 Colva — a beach located South Goa easily accessible from Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore
  • 6 Palolem — a small town with one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa
  • 7 Patnem — a small town with a beautiful beach
  • 8 Xeldem — a scenic village important in agriculture and noted for its Shree Sateri Shantadurga Temple

By plane[edit]

Dabolim Airport (GOI IATA) is well connected with major Indian cities and a few international destinations (with direct connections especially to the Middle East).

By rail[edit]

Margao Junction is a major railway station, at which the North - South Konkan Railway and the Eastwards bound South Central Railway intersect.

By road[edit]

Margao is also well connected by bus to major cities in neighbouring states. Road connectivity has also improved by leaps and bounds, so that many visitors now opt to drive to Goa.

  • Cola Beach - a remote, unspoilt beach for those seeking complete peace and relaxation, 10km north from Agonda.
  • Agonda Beach - a small and quiet beach, near Palolem Beach
  • Palolem Beach - a scenic and popular beach in extreme south Goa.
  • Patnem Beach - a small and quiet beach, bordering Palolem Beach
