Article name[edit]

Austin/UT and the Drag as a name kinda threw me as I didn't understand what the place was about. The title of this article probably should be Austin/University of Texas and the Drag, but that is a mouth full words to say and using and in an article title make it sound like two separate places! I notice that Austin/UT also redirects here. Would it be better to call the district that or Austin/University of Texas and discuss both the campus and the surrounding streets together or else do it in separate sub articles, if need be. Besides if you asked anybody from Austin where is the UT? would they know what you mean and be able to direct you there. Would they ususally call it UT and the Drag or just UT or something else, like Texas U, the University, Uni, etc.? - (WT-en) Huttite 09:45, 29 November 2009 (EST)

It lumps together several areas which would be considered somewhat distinct neighborhoods by locals (West Campus, North University, etc.). "Texas U" and "Uni" are not common local names for the University... AnonMoos (talk) 19:26, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

300 E. 30th St mural[edit]

The bent watch, which was the Dali component of the Chagall/Dali/Warhol tribute mural, has now been painted over by an overripe banana. Not sure if it's vandalism or what... AnonMoos (talk) 11:05, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
