Land mines?[edit]
The description of the area west of the Buddhas under Bamiyan#See advises "stay on well-used paths". Is that a land mine warning? Snakes? Touchy locals? Whatever it is, it would be good to be more explicit. Pashley (talk) 16:21, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
- When I was last there, which was more than 12 years ago, there were mines away from the paths. I saw mines laying at the edge of a path. I have no doubt that the area has been cleared since then, but caution would still be wise. Davidbstanley (talk) 08:03, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
