I'm on the verge of removing the following per our Project:Avoid negative reviews guideline. Though it might fall under one of the exceptions if it's a place that's otherwise recommended / heavily advertised. (WT-en) Majnoona 00:08, 19 July 2006 (EDT)

Chaweng Pearl Cabana Located on the north side of the beach, rooms here are some of the cheapest on the beach. A double or twin with a fan will run you 400 while a similar place with air conditioning costs about 500. This place is a dump and the staff are very, very unfriendly. Be prepared to argue with them about things like sheets and towels. Some rooms do not have working lights, fans, showers, etc. You are much better going a bit farther down the beach and paying 500 or so for a place.

Keep it in there until we have enough positive reviews to fill up the 7-to-9 quota -- right now there are none. (WT-en) Jpatokal 20:35, 21 July 2006 (EDT)

Why no pictures?

Ark Bar[edit]

Are their bar and their resort so separately famous that they deserve two separate entries, in an exception to the don't tout guidelines? Those of you who are familiar with Chaweng, please make that decision. I sense touting, but I am not sure. (WT-en) Ikan Kekek 01:18, 16 February 2012 (EST)
