Well, Pierre, when I saw that you were going to start this, I thought: "I should let him know that that's going to be tough without UTF-8." Although I really rarely do this, I'd kind of recommend that you hold off on updating this article until we've got UTF-8 enabled. It was stupid not to use it at first, but frankly when I first installed MediaWiki I didn't trust the UTF-8 support.
