How do I get to the coach station in Malaga from estepona. I cant find any maps showing directions

Have a query...[edit]

I have booked a holiday in Nov. at a resort near Marbella. What is the best way to get to Malaga city from there?

Pictures[edit]

For the opening section a picture of the city centre at street level might be better and the current image of the view over the city could be moved further down later.

Alternative banner for this article?[edit]

old banner currently used in this article
suggested new banner (which is currently used in the parallel article in the Hebrew Wikivoyage)

In the Hebrew Wikivoyage we are currently using this banner instead of the one which is currently used here. Do you think too that this banner would would better than the existing one? ויקיג'אנקי (talk) 02:50, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think the new one is clearer and more colorful. Texugo (talk) 02:51, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I second Texugo's opinion. PerryPlanet (talk) 03:01, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure. The new one is beautiful, but the current one focuses in on a characteristic building. I haven't been to Málaga, though. I imagine the new banner gives more of a sense of place; is that true? Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:47, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The first one does focus on a nice building, but it's kind of hazy and the angle is rather inconvenient. Texugo (talk) 13:03, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say in this case, the panorama does give a better sense of place; it's the classic view of the city from the Castillo. The city hall (the building in the current banner) is a lovely building, but the roof is hardly the most interesting part. PerryPlanet (talk) 14:05, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I prefer the new one. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 20:03, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Persons in photos[edit]

Iberian ham & cheese at Bodeguita El Gallo.
Mesón Lo Güeno

Wondering a bit about the photo in the Eat section. Back at the old page there used to be an explicit ban against people in photos, though I cannot find it now. Also https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Photographs_of_identifiable_people and https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Country_specific_consent_requirements#Spain seem to indicate that there should be a separate permission from the person depicted to publish that photo. As well, might not the photo be regarded as...sort of promotional? ϒpsilon (talk) 11:20, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and I pulled it out of the article and placed it here. Despite the caption, the focus of the photo is very much on the guy posing. I pulled the second photo for being promotional as well. Texugo (talk) 11:40, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
