I tagged this for merging into Telephone service for travel, but that seems debatable.

It has only links for services in France; should the information be moved to the Contact section of France instead? On the other hand, if this were expanded to cover other countries, would it be too large to fit in Telephone service for travel? Does that mean it should be kept as a separate article? Or does it violate Project:Goals and non-goals where building a web directory is explicitly listed as a non-goal? Does that mean it should be deleted?

I'm not at all sure what should be done here. Other opinions? (WT-en) Pashley 23:35, 10 February 2012 (EST)

I like your suggestion - I think this info works far better as part of a travel topic, and were it in a country article I'd be concerned about it being too specific for the article subject and also ending up as just another long list of external links. -- (WT-en) Ryan • (talk) • 23:51, 10 February 2012 (EST)
Maybe we need a separate travel topic for smartphones as suggested at Wikivoyage:Requested_articles#Communication? This article could then merge there. Pashley (talk) 13:29, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with creating mobile telephones as a topic in its own right and merging there. The main telephone service is a dog's breakfast of everything from coin booths to the overpriced telephones in hotel rooms to Internet telephony. GSM and VoIP should be separate topics as they're just bloating the one main telephony page. K7L (talk) 16:04, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
