Comments[edit]

I don't understand why my listing has been taken off from Wiki Voyage page for "Pushkar". We provide Spiritual walking tours in Pushkar which is a unique activity as no one else does the same. Vedic Walks is a boutique walking tours organization that promotes responsible tourism in India. www.vedicwalks.com

You would notice that we are already on the Wiki Voyage 'Jaipur' page for a long time.

It is a great value program that helps people to see Pushkar as a local & not as a tourist.

Look forward to hear from you.

Thanks for starting a discussion here. However, the fact that no-one has (yet?) deleted the listing from Jaipur is not a policy-based argument. Please make an argument based on the policy language at Wikivoyage:Listings#Tour listings, including the following:
In practice this policy disallows listing most audio tours, walking tours, and guided tours since the substance of such tours can generally be fulfilled by an independent traveller
Thank you, and I look forward to reading your argument. Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:46, 16 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pushkar Royal Safari Camp[edit]

What is the camp's own URL? It's not the old one shown here, nor is it at all likely to be someone's guide to the entire state blog. And are any of the phone numbers real, or do they all go to touts? Does anyone know? I don't think we should keep up a listing if it's suspicious. The search results go to a shell of a website for an alleged hotel in Haryana, 3 Tripadvisor pages and 1 Facebook page about the 2020 camel fair at the camp. Then there are other results. Anyone have any idea of what to do? Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:34, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted the new edit, but the old URL is not the camp's own, either. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:29, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The job is complete now, thanks for the heads-up @Ikan Kekek:. Ibaman (talk) 16:12, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I think you made the right call. Ikan Kekek (talk) 17:10, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
