Talk:Truro (Massachusetts)

On a search for "Truro", the one in England comes up. I don't know how to change that one to Truro (Cornwall), so that both are shown in results. (WT-en) OldPine 22:08, 2 June 2006 (EDT)

The way to do that is to select the "move" option at the top of Truro and rename it. (Although the guidelines say to add the next-highest level of the hierarchy to the name, I'd be inclined to change it to "Truro (England)", because that's distinct enough, and someone searching for that city might not know it's in Cornwall.) The next step would be to turn the redirect page left at Truro into a disambiguation page so that anyone who types in just "Truro" or links to it will be given a choice of Truros to explore. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 22:28, 2 June 2006 (EDT)
