Thi Lo Su (Thai: ทีลอซู), Thailand's largest waterfall, is about 200 m tall and 400 m wide

Umphang is a village in Tak Province, Northern Thailand. It lies ~165 km south of Mae Sot, about a 5 hr drive along a twisting mountain road.

  • Thi Lo Su Waterfall (Namtok Thi Lo Su) (Follow a small road off the main road from Umphang for 27 km. Visitors must follow the set route, or raft and walk through the forest),  +66 55 514341-3. 08:30-17:00. In the Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary, reputedly is the most beautiful in Thailand. Originating from Huai Klotho, it flows down a mountain valley at a height of 200-300 m. The fall flows down in tiers surrounded by virgin forest. There is a trail to the waterfall from the wildlife sanctuary office. It takes approximately 15 min to walk, and there are places to stop and admire the impressive views from the top. Vehicles can enter between Nov-Apr only.
