Hi Simon! Please have a look at our don't tout and welcome, business owners policies and we don't accept listings in regional articles. (WT-en) jan 08:20, 4 May 2010 (EDT)

Hi! You seem not to follow our policies. Stop it or i have to block you. (WT-en) jan 08:30, 4 May 2010 (EDT)

Hi Jan. Sorry - I didn't mean to ignore you, I promise! - but I'm new here and feeling my way a bit. Have now read the pages you suggested and understand what you mean. Would you rather I didn't add a section on Where to Stay in Chianti? There is very little about agritusimi and I thought it would be useful...

Of course, I will also simplify my entry for Podere Patrignone to fit with your guidelines...will that be OK?

I see you also removed my Siena entry...was the language too pushy?

Welcome message[edit]

Hello, Simon! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Project:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

This is our standard welcome message. Briefly read about policies and then your listing is more likely to stay. BTW: Are you SEO or business owner? (WT-en) jan 08:47, 4 May 2010 (EDT)

Hi Jan, still not sure how I reply to your comments here! I am a business owner, but I also act as a travel advisor and write articles on travelling in the Chianti area of Tuscany. If you need any contributions or help, please ask!

Hi Simon! Here i wrote you some tips about how listings should be and your listing in Siena is now fine for me. Your style and place to reply is fine as talk pages are here to discuss/talk if needed. The only issue is you need to sign your name on entries to see that you have replied. The easiest way for that is to push the Sign your name: ~~~~ button below. The four waves then convert in your name and date stamp. When i'm finished i always just click on it and then it appears afterwards. (WT-en) jan 08:57, 4 May 2010 (EDT)
It's up to you where you prefer to reply. We are liberal here only the article count. (WT-en) jan 08:58, 4 May 2010 (EDT)

Hi Simon, please don't reenter in Chianti. Listings in regional article are not allowed as all listing most be in the corresponding cities/towns/villages. Other user might assume bad faith and delist then all your business again. (WT-en) jan 09:02, 4 May 2010 (EDT)

Every business is only allowed to be listed once because otherwise there would be to much redundancy. (WT-en) jan 09:24, 4 May 2010 (EDT)
