Hello, 118.70.187.84! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikivoyage:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.

By the way, have you considered creating an account here? While you can absolutely keep contributing as an anonymous user, it promises a bunch of benefits, and no obligations.

Also, please have a look at Wikivoyage:Avoid negative reviews:

Sometimes a restaurant, bar, hotel, or other attraction has such grave defects that it's just not worth going to. If this is the case, it's best to just leave it out of the destination guide for the place it's in. There's no reason to clutter up a guide with lists of places travellers shouldn't go.

As an observer to recent edits who hasn't been to Pattaya, I would suggest that you stop edit warring and try to come to a consensus about that bar/restaurant listing at Talk:Pattaya. Be aware that edit warring can be a reason for an account to be blocked, an outcome no-one would like, and that it seems strange you would care so much about it being important to list a bar/restaurant that you seem to acknowledge provides "brusque and cold" service.

All the best,

Hello - as a regular user of the restuarant the recent description is unrepresentative. One person's single bad experience is not sufficient grounds for the removal of relevant information. —The preceding comment was added by 118.70.187.84 (talkcontribs)

Suppose you're right that User:Seligne's experiences the last two nights are "unrepresentative". Even accepting that, purely for the sake of argument, why do you care so much about the restaurant being listed that you risk being blocked, in order to edit war? Why not move on to something more productive? Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:23, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm going to say right now that you're wasting volunteer editors' time here, and that while you are welcome to try to achieve a consensus on Talk:Pattaya, if you revert the deletion of this listing once more, your posting privileges, except on this talk page, will be blocked, initially for 24 hours. If this user is so committed to keeping this listing, why don't I just start a discussion of the article's talk page recommending that it be removed and see what readers/users think. I don't want to create an edit war here, I just think the place no longer warrants inclusion.Seligne (talk) 08:13, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
