For a new IP user, you seem to have a lot of knowledge about this site and strong feelings about it. Have you posted before as a registered user, and did you also post under the User:124.13.151.250 IP? Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:02, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I hate vandalism, whether of the teenage punk or more calculated variety; I prefer that the public phone box is stolen rather than smashed up, because then it at least retains some utility. And, in case you ask, my comments were not principally directed at you; even though you may self-identify as American, you've been around enough to be a little wiser than most.
Incidentally, I must have used thousands of IP addresses over the last decade of travelling and editing various wikis; except if I deliberately choose to re-set the connection, I've little choice in the IP address I'm assigned and certainly can't "hang on" to a particular IP address. 175.138.99.217 12:31, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't reacting to anything on the basis of nationality; that didn't occur to me. Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:30, 6 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I was being mealy mouthed - I should have specified censors like CarrotTop directly. Unfortunately I see I now have to lump you in with the muppets: "05:27, 7 May 2015 Ikan Kekek (talk | contribs) blocked 175.138.99.217 (talk) with an expiry time of 1 month (anonymous users only, account creation disabled) (Block evasion by Frank, related account.)"
Should be block evasion by Alice - although nobody's ever been able to give me a coherent explanation as to why it can't possibly countenanced that I have an independent existence without Frank's hand stuck up my derrière ... -- Alice
Because you and Frank, whether you are different people or not (and I've never cared about that) have wasted an incredible amount of time here, I will say this only once: I am able to tell very quickly when you are the one posting from an IP. It's very obvious. And I am happy to play along with the charade of pretending I don't know who you (plural or singular, as your style is identical, for all practical purposes) are as long as you completely avoid doing things intentionally in violation of policies and don't behave in an ornery way (for example, by pretending either[?] of you is being persecuted for your opinions, attempting to hijack threads to argue off-topic about policies, or to use welcomes of new users as a vehicle for promoting controversial policies or engaging in edit wars) (as I mentioned in Wikivoyage:User ban nominations/Archive#Moving forward, though things have changed since I proposed only an immediate 3-day suspension if you did any of these things). I'd add: also, if you avoid calling admins or other users names or making snide remarks about the site, such as that it will sink like the Titanic, and cut the crap about sockpuppets, because if either{?) of you behaved reasonably, no-one would give a damn how many accounts you were using or how many "friends" posted in a like manner. So if you ever choose to shape up and behave entirely constructively, not only will I ignore that it is you posting again, but so, probably, would everyone else. But as long as you continue to behave this way, your privileges to post on talk pages will certainly be blocked, as no-one wants to continue wasting time with your abusive argumentation style, which you seem to be incapable of letting go of.
I might add that as far as I'm concerned, I'm being quite (and probably excessively) magnanimous to your latest IPs to consider this your last warning and not block them right away, though I cannot speak for any other admin. And with that, I'm done. Good day. Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:52, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for disclosing the account you have previously used. I have changed the block reason to reflect that it is block evasion by User:Alice. Nurg (talk) 00:06, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
