FYI, we very rarely block IP addresses, as you threatened would happen to 82.20.58.199. Furthermore, it's debatable whether your link to orlando-villa-guide.com is consistent with our external links policy against linking to secondary sources and other guides. And in fact, we do welcome links to individual businesses; that's part of what Wikivoyage is here for: to give specific recommendations. Please keep in mind that it's up to the Wikivoyage community to decide what's appropriate here, not any individual editor. - (WT-en) Todd VerBeek 09:22, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

Hello & welcome![edit]

Hello! Welcome to Wikivoyage. If you want to specialize your experience you may want to consider editing your preferences. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to the whole wiki community look at the wiki markup to get an idea of how to use the wiki markup. If you need help, check out Project:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

If you are a Wikipedian, or have previously used Wikipedia, then you may notice some differences in the style of our articles. Some of the changes are: * "Village Pump" -> travellers' pub * "be bold" -> plunge forward * "sandbox" -> graffiti wall * "stub notes" -> Article status notes * "External links" -> We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate them into the text. * "NPOV" -> Um, we have a a point of view and don't always care for political correctness. Thank you for contributing. ~ 60.50.23.133 09:51, 21 April 2007 (EDT)
