Hello, Crookesmoor! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here.

Keep up the good work. --Traveler100 (talk) 10:40, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Love the name![edit]

Hi there Crookesmoor! I'd also like to extend a welcome to you, not least because of your brilliant username. You wouldn't happen to have a connection with Sheffield would you? :P Any improvements you wish to make to the city's page will always be welcome. Happy editing. Best, --ThunderingTyphoons! No refs or "References" sections on Wikivoyage[edit]

Hi, Crookesmoor, and thanks for adding content!

There are differences between this site and Wikipedia. One of them is in when and how we use external links. We don't cite sources for facts here, don't use refs, and don't use "External links" or "References" sections. We do use external links for primary sources, such as bus companies. The format used on this site is front-linking.

Thanks again, and all the best,

Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians will be a really useful page for you to read and will clarify a lot of things. Have a look.
All the best,

Message for you at Talk:Manchester[edit]

Not sure if template:ping works when the username is a red link, but just so you know for sure, I have left a message for you on the talk page of Manchester.--ThunderingTyphoons! (talk) 12:03, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
