Hello, Ferdinando Scala! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. Naples[edit]

Hi, Ferdinando; I see you added a bunch of information to Naples; thanks for that! But you claim it comes from another source. Do you have some sort of documentation that this text was written by you? A link to the source would be great. LtPowers (talk) 20:13, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No problems, it was written by me last year when I candidated Naples to be the hosting town for Wikimania 2013. As such, it is already in the free domain, and in any case, I explicitly authorize Wikivoyage to use it. meta:Wikimania 2013/Bids/Naples this is the link to the original source, you can easily see from the history of the document that I'm the author. I also have to add that it was specifically written for the bid, I didn't copy any other source. I will also use other parts of the document to improve the Wikivoyage page. I will also put on disposition thephotos in the page of which I'm author. They are not still on Commons, but I will soon amend this. Anytime you want, I'm here; or, better on my it.wiki user page :-) --Ferdinando Scala (talk) 22:39, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please note two relevant policies: Wikivoyage:Links to Wikipedia (there should only be one link to WP per page, not one per listing) and Wikivoyage:Image policy#Minimal use of images (we usually avoid using galleries). --Peter Talk 23:24, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Meaning of aggressive flirting[edit]

Hi, Ferdinando. I think you misunderstand what it means when someone is described as flirting aggressively. Aggressive flirting is not violent, just a strong effort by a man who shows confidence and perhaps bravado. It's bold and persistent, unless and until it's firmly rejected (and then the man may say something like "Che peccata!") And while I am not a woman, I certainly observed aggressive flirting in Naples, though it is not unique to the city and equally true of some other Italian cities. It's no insult to describe it as such. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:13, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
