Thanks for plunging ahead with this template, but be aware that in the past these sorts of templates have generally been nominated for deletion and removed in the past. Project:Using Mediawiki templates#Ontario Mediawiki Template contains one discussion on the subject, and I suspect searching the VFD archives may turn up more. - Ditto! I didn't want to scare you off as you've made some excellent contributions, but at the same time I didn't want to see you spend a lot of time adding menu templates to European articles only to have someone come along and revert it later - there's a bit of history behind Wikivoyage's minimal use of templates that new contributors are often unaware of.
