Hello and Welcome!

We've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.

If you are a Wikipedian, or have previously used Wikipedia, then you may notice some differences in the style of our articles. These include:

  • "External links" → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.

If you ever would like some help, check out Project:Help, or post a message here or in the travellers' pub.

Also, one final thing: I did edit out a remark that a restaurant is "award-winning," because our policies on avoiding a tone that could be perceived as touting are such that unless we can mention a specific award, we don't use the term. But any award a restaurant got from an organization that does not merely depend on anonymous ratings by users is fine to mention by name.

Thanks for all your contributions so far, and please keep on adding more content!

All the best,

Thanks for the prompt review and pointing me to those resources! I'll try to keep adding more topics and details related to Costa Rica when I have the time.
