Hi there, and welcome. It's fine for you to be a socialist, but this is not a political site. The purpose of this site is to serve the traveler, not the working class (though there is certainly scope for responsible travel that seeks to benefit the human race generally and the peasants and workers of the regions one visits specifically).

It would be most appreciated if you would not continue to edit war on the Cuba guide, as the point of characterizing systems of government is to inform visitors of what they can expect, and Cuba is not a democratic system in any way that most travelers would recognize; instead, it is a country that is ruled by a single party, has no multi-party elections, and is in many other classic ways clearly recognizable as a one-party dictatorship. That fact has nothing to do with the particular ideological bent of the ruling party, as can be clearly seen by comparison with countries like Venezuela, Ecuador, and Bolivia, which are also ruled by Marxist parties but are clearly recognizable as democracies.

I write all this not because I am interested in debating with you whether Cuba is a democracy (I am not), but just to explain why your efforts to politicize the description of the Cuban system of government will not be accepted here.

However, I hope you don't find this message unfriendly, and please be assured that any content that you would like to put up that is accurate and clearly benefits the traveler would be most welcome here.

Your account has been blocked for 2 hours, basically for acting nasty. If you want to have a future on this site, don't edit war, don't call people names, and don't engage in political polemics. We are all volunteer editors here and don't have time for this kind of extraneous stuff. Future bad behavior will result in longer suspensions, up to and including a permanent block if necessary.
