Wangaratta is a town of around 20,000 people in Victoria, Australia.

By car[edit]

Wangaratta lies on the Hume Freeway between Sydney and Melbourne.

By coach[edit]

Greyhound services Wangaratta as a on request stop on their daily service between Sydney and Melbourne.

By train[edit]

Since the standard gauge conversion of the Victorian section of the line, the day and night NSW Trainlink XPT services between Sydney and Melbourne stop at Wangaratta. Two V/Line train services to Albury, together with connecting V/Line bus services to Seymour.

Cycling. Wangaratta is at the start of the Murray to the Mountains railtrail [1]. Over 100km of interesting, sealed, off-road cycling.
