Whangamata is a beachside town on the Coromandel Peninsula in the North Island of New Zealand.

  • Intercity, +64 9 583 5780. Three bus services a day each way between Auckland and Waihi; three hrs travel time. The Auckland terminal is at 102 Hobson St, near the Sky Tower.
  • Go Kiwi Shuttles, +64 800 446 549, . Office hours 8:30AM-5PM. Door-to-door between Auckland and Whangamata. From $94 adult.
