Medlow Bath is a small town in the Blue Mountains region of the Australian state of New South Wales. The main feature of the town was always the Hydro-Majestic hotel. A grand old hotel, for accommodation and high tea overlooking the spectacular valley. The hotel has reopened after the latest renovation and relaunch.
Get in
The Great Western Highway, which begins in Sydney at Penrith and ends at Bathurst, passes through Medlow Bath.
Blue Mountains trains from Sydney stop at Medlow Bath station hourly or more often during the day. Western trains run from Mount Victoria once an hour and from Lithgow once every two hours.

See
- The Hydro Majestic, Great Western Highway. This grand hotel began its life in 1904 as a health resort, and it is the main attraction of Medlow Bath. The view from the over the Megalong Valley is simply stunning, with large glass windows in the restaurants and lobby. The hotel has been renovated. If you do not stay here, it is still worth having high tea in the Wintergarden.
