Lukovë, also spelled Lukova, is a village in Bregu region of Albania.
Understand
Lukovë is the last village of the Albanian Riviera also known as "Bregu". It is a small village, with clear, turquoise water, breathtaking beaches, memorable sunsets, nice hotels and welcoming people. Lukovë has two parts: the "uptown" village, where the best hotel of the place is located; and the "downtown" beach.
Get in
Lukovë is between Saranda and Himara. You can get to Lukova following these itineraries:
- With a plane: go to Tirana with an airplane; then go to Lukova with a bus, rent a car or taxi. You can get good taxies at the airport, and you can rent a car in Tirana for low prices. You follow the itinerary: Tirana-Durres-Rrogozhine-Lushnje-Fier-Vlore-Himare-Lukovë. The roadway is very good and new.
Get around
Lukovë is pretty small. You can get around walking, but you can also use your car if you want to go to the neighbouring villages. For an amazing experience, ask for a trip with a horse.
