Do
- Hill Tribe Villages. There are lots of authentic and traditional hill tribe villages (Lawa and Karen) that can be found in the mountains and lowlands of Mae La Noi. The remote location means that most of these villages are still traditional and rarely see tourists passing through. As you get further into the mountains, some villages are only accessible by a 4 x 4. To find and visit these villages it is advisable to go with a local guide.
- Kaew Komol Cave. A popular attraction for Thai tourists. A short motorbike ride to the east of the town. Beautiful crystal calcite cave. Walking in and out takes about 20 minutes. No hats, coats, backpacks or cameras allowed inside. Only a flashlight which you don't necessarily need for the cave is well lighted. Worth a visit. 80 baht, includes transport to cave.
