Bungendore is located on the Kings Highway, which runs from Canberra to Batemans Bay on the New South Wales South Coast. The town also has a railway station which is serviced two or three times a day by trains running between Sydney and Canberra via Goulburn. Trip time to Sydney CBD is about three hours by road (travelling via the Federal and Hume Highways) and three and half hours by rail.
