Summary
| Description |
Македонски: Античкиот град Баргала настанал кон крајот на 4 век, кој бил изграден како тврдина на граничниот појас меѓу провинциите Втора Македонија и Средоземна Дакија. Подоцна, градот бил разурнат, а жителите подигнале нов град крај Козјачка Река во близината на Горни Козјак. По губењето на стратешкото значење, Баргала прераснала во цивилен - епископски град. Во 5 век и во 6 век, а особено во времето на Јустинијан I (527-565), градот го достигнал својот врв, но кон крајот на 6 век, во неколку наврати, настрадал од аварско-словенските походи кои го треселе Балканот. Градот не бил потполно напуштен, меѓутоа опстојувал како неурбанизирана населба. Понатаму, во средниот век се оформила нова населба, чиј белег е црквата "Свети Ѓорги", изградена кон крајот на втората половина на 9 век. Околу црквата "Св. Ѓорги" е откриена некропола која, според наодите, егзистирала почнувајки од 7 век. |
