Summary
| Description |
English: Steamed Rice Cake (Puttu) is a common breakfast in kerala. Puttu are of many kind which use different grains such as ground rice wheat flour, tapioca and corn flour, mixed with grated coconut and water. Puttu is usually served with banana and pappad and also with fish curry, jackfruit, mango, chicken curry and kadala curry.
In this pic i have done something new. I have mixed a little coffee to the puttu with coarsely ground rice, grated coconut and water. The result was fantastic, a rare genuine taste that i felt its worth sharing. |
