English: Dark Hedge Looking South-East These beech trees were planted in the 1700's. I heard recently that several of these fine specimens are currently being removed because of concerns over public safety, so I thought I should mark this by submitting a 'Before' picture. I don't think the 'After' picture will be as atmospheric.
Maybe the 'Grey Lady' herself will be forced to move!
