DescriptionHarbhajan Singh memorial (7348781594).jpg
Not far from the Sewaro Rock Garden is the Harbhajan Singh memorial. Born in 1941, Harbhajan Singh was an Indian army soldier who died near the Nathu La Pass in eastern Sikkim, India. He apparently slipped and fell into a fast flowing stream while escorting a mule caravan. He is revered by the soldiers of the Indian army, who have built a shrine in his honour. Legend has it that he appeared in the dream of one of the soldiers asking that a shrine be built for him. (May 2009)
