Description
English: The Lawrence Merrimack Canal was built for use by the old Lawrence mills and factories. The now unused channel is home to several beautiful historic bridges, one of which can be seen in the background of this photo. The canal remains in its exact footprints and is immune or mostly immune to being filled in due to its historic value.
