Summary
| Description |
English: Lopra is a small village on Suðuroy, Faroe Islands. The population is around 100. The village is located around the fjord Lopransfjørður. West of the village there is a popular place on the west coast which is called Lopranseiði. One can enjoy the spectacular view from there towards south to the 470 meter high sea cliff Beinisvørð. The top of Beinisvørð is visible from the village. This is the view towards north from the old road to Sumba. There are salmon farm rings on the fjord. A part of the village Vágur is visible to the left, Nes is to the right across the fjord. The fjords are called Lopransfjørður and Vágsfjørður. |
