Description
English: This adult male Malabar Barbet Psilopogon malabaricus was noticed feeding in a road-side Ficus tree on the Mangalore Highway just off Sakleshpur. This bird, I believe, likes to stay higher up in a canopy. We were lucky that it came down to the lower branches in this instance enabling me to take some decent images.
