Summary
DescriptionTralee and Blennerville Railway Yard - geograph.org.uk - 1398725.jpg
English: Tralee & Blennerville Railway Yard This is the works yard just south of Blennerville Station - 1398746. It has a rather sad neglected air, and it is understood that the railway is currently not running. In the centre is the smokebox, boiler and firebox of former Tralee & Dingle No 5T, which was originally built in Leeds in 1892 by Hunslet. When we came past a few days later, this and other parts of the locomotive had gone, hopefully into the protection of the shed building. It seems Tralee Council has a financial stake in the railway, and have acted to protect this historic locomotive. See http://www.tdlr.org.uk/revival .
