Description

在傳統的舖地式倉庫(Dunnage Warehouse)中儲存陳年的蘇格蘭麥芽威士忌

相對於規模龐大的堆疊式(Racked)倉庫，傳統的舖地式倉儲方式橡木桶被規定最多只能疊到三層，一方面是因為超過這高度後橡木桶內的威士忌與地面之間將失去互動的可能，另一方面則是這種儲存法能將橡木桶暴露在空氣中的表面積提升，促進桶內外氣體的互換。

本照片拍攝於艾拉島上著名的拉弗格(Laphroaig)蒸餾廠最靠近海邊的一號倉庫。
