Hey, where is the SVG for this? The link seems broken both here and on shared. — (WT-en) Ravikiran 13:49, 18 August 2009 (EDT)

You'll need to ask Cacahuate for this one. He's been a little, er, slow about uploading SVGs ;) --(WT-en) Peter Talk 22:45, 18 August 2009 (EDT)

wrong map of india[edit]

Dear wikivoyage chief please check the official map of india from official website of Governement of India the map of india posted on your website is wrong and hurting the sentiments of indian citizens(SHOWING J&K,AND ARUNACHAAL PRDESH AS DIPUTED LAND) hope you understand your mistake and make the chances in your map ASAP REGARDS VAIBHAV BHOR (VAIBHAVBHOR@GMAIL.COM)

I'm not sure what you're referring to (a previous map?), as there is no indication on this map showing which areas are claimed by other countries, but Wikivoyage has the policy of recognizing all de facto borders. That is irrespective of the hurt feelings of nationalists on any side, and only on behalf of travellers. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:36, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Even the previous versions of this map not showing Arunachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir as disputed areas. --Saqib (talk) 10:25, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. to this probably very old, unsigned query: There is no "Wikivoyage Chief." Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:23, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Uttarakhand is misspelled[edit]

Uttaranchal? No such place. Would someone who knows how please fix the spelling. Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:36, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Uttaranchal is former official name of Uttarakhand which was changed in early 2007. This map was originally created in late 2008 but I don't know why the author didn't labelled "Uttarakhand" instead. But anyway, I've changed it now. --Saqib (talk) 10:20, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Thanks for taking care of that, Saqib. Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:22, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
