H.D.Kote or Heggadadevana kote is a hilly town in Mysuru district of Karnataka province in India.

The area in and around H.D.Kote is full of small hills and lakes. The population is very small. There are four reservoirs.

H.D.Kote is 50 km from Mysore. There is no railway station.

Autorickshaws are the best mode of local transportation as taxis cannot be easily found

- Tribal villages. Tribal villages like Saragur are very scenic. A lot of water bodies like rivers and canals in this area.
- Gaddige Kenddganeshwara Temple, Bhogadi Road (20 km). Riverside temple with cool and spacious courtyard to relax. Free lunch with sweets is served from 11AM.
- Varada Raja Swamy Temple (half a km from bus station).
- Mahadeshwara Temple (1.6 km from bus station).
- Jamia Masjidh (half a kilometer from bus station).

- Trekking. There are plenty of opportunities for trekking as the small streets are empty and villages very pretty.

There is one vegetarian restaurant and one non-vegetarian restaurant inside the bus station. Throughout the town, there are many vegetarian restaurants.
