Kenton Nationals
  • Kenton National Field Dog Trials and Flea Market, +1 419 673-3294. Located 6 miles South of Kenton Ohio on SR 292. Open August 29 through September 3rd, 2007 for its 52nd Anniversary. This is a huge event with sportsmen showing up from all over the USA. Some have described it as an Appalachian Burning Man with firearms. This may have been a better description before the 80's when law enforcement started entering the gates. Now the wildness has somewhat subsided and you likley will find Federal Marshalls mingled with KKK members and families in the mix. The flea market is somewhat geared to the outdoorsman or hunter. You will find firearms, bows, cross bows, traps, camping gear, survial gear, pelts, dogs, dog gear, and a mountain of unusal items. No ammunition allowed. [[1]]

This region travel guide to Hardin County is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
