Kilmartin is a village in Argyll and Bute in the Scottish Highlands.
Understand
Kilmartin Glen has a major concentration of Neolithic and Bronze Age remains. There are more than 350 ancient monuments within a six mile radius of the village. The most evident is an arrangement of cairns, in a group called the linear cemetery. There are also standing stones and some boulders with cup and ring marks.

- Kilmartin Parish Church. The church was built in 1835 and has a notable collection of medieval carved stones, and a 9th century Kilmartin Cross.

- Kilmartin House Museum Cafe, Kilmartin (8 miles north of Lochgilphead on the Oban road), ☏ +44 1546 510278. 10.00 - 5.00pm. Situated in a green-oak conservatory with absorbing views of Kilmartin Glen this museum cafe is open daily for tea and coffee, home baking and light lunches. As the Glebe Cairn Restaurant it is also open for dinner between 6 and 9 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (booking recommended)
