For other places with the same name, see Moselle Valley.

The Moselle valley (Moseltal) is largely in Rhineland-Palatinate. The source of the Moselle river is in the Vosges mountains of French Alsace and it then flows north before reaching Germany at Perl and forming the border with Rhineland-Palatinate and Luxembourg.

Understand[edit]

The Moselle River is bordered to the north by the Eifel and to the south by the Hunsrück. It flows into the Rhine at Koblenz.
