Get in

You get to Moskenes in any of several ways:

  • By flight: Fly from Oslo/Bergen/Trondheim to Bodø (1,5 hour), and then take the ferry (Hurtigruta) from Bodø to Moskenes. The airport bus stops at the ferry terminal (15 min). Norwegian.no and SAS fly daily to Bodø from all major cities in Norway.
  • By train: Take the train from Oslo or other major cities in Norway to Bodø (17 – 19 hours). You could save money if you get a low price ticket, called “Minipris”, available on nsb.no. In Bodø take the ferry (Hurtigruta) to Moskenes.
  • By car: Drive to Bodø, and then take the ferry to Moskenes. In jun/jul/aug you should make a reservation for your car on the ferry on their website to avoid long carlines.

This region travel guide to Moskenesøya is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
