- Nefyn hosts a carnival on the May Bank Holiday Monday. There is a procession through town led by drummers and dancers, followed by girls and boys dressed up as princesses and princes, riding in car boots and trailers. The end of the procession includes children and adults in fancy dress. The procession leads to the carnival yard, with car boot sales and children's play areas.
