Pak Lay is a city in Northern Laos.

The first settlement in Laos after crossing the Thai-Lao border at Nam Hueng.

Get in

There are two bus stations in town. Heading south: Vientiane 90,000 kip; Nam Hueng 35,000 kip. Heading north: Sayabouly and Luang Prabang

Get around

Explore the town by foot or take tuk-tuk from the bus stations to centre.

A small market is located in the centre next to the football playground. BCEL Bank has an ATM and accepts international cards.
