Södertälje
Södertälje, nicknamed Tälje or Telge, is a city in Sweden in the Södermanland province, just south of Stockholm.

Södertälje is built around a canal. Today the city is mainly known for the significant Assyrian/Syrian diaspora, most of them originating from Iraq, and for the Scania truck factory.

Long-distance trains to Gothenburg and Malmö, as well as regional trains, call at Södertälje Syd. The station is located on a bridge across an ocean bay, 50 metres above sea level, with a spectacular view of the city.
